First Step
Sum of first addend number with ones of second addend number.
19 + 5 = 24
Second Step
Add zero at the last digit of the sum number from first step. Because more than tens number multiply with more than tens number equal hundred.
19 + 5 = 240
Third Step
Multiplying ones digit from each addend.
9 × 5 = 45
Fourth Step
Adding the sum number from second step with the sum number from third step.
240 + 45 = 285
