- type ruby -v
or
type ruby --version - press Enter on keyboard.
Notes:
- For Ruby CLI ( Command Line Interface ) documentation, type: ruby --help
- The Default installation folder of Ruby : C:\Ruby27
- The Default installation folder of Ruby Help Manual : C:\Ruby27\share\doc\ruby\html\
- The number 27 in Ruby27 is only for sample, you can adjust to your Ruby installation.

Ruby Gems is packaging/bundling tools in Ruby.
- open Command Prompt.
- type gem -v
or
type gem --version - press Enter on keyboard.
