Regex Recipe In Notepad++ 1

to count how many sections in Latex document.

1. Open Notepad++.
2. Click Search > Find menu.
3. type this in Find what: \\section{.+}
4. In Search Mode, choose Regular expression
5. press Count button.
6. It will be show how many sections in Find dialogue box status bar.
