How To Check Your Git Version

 How To Check Your GIT Version In Microsoft Windows

1. open Command Prompt.
2. type  git ––version
   or
3. type git –v
   ( must be v in lower case text )
4. press Enter on keyboard.

If Git is installed, it should show something like git version X.Y
